Since joining Shimizu Corporation in April 2018, Nakamoto has been supporting collaboration with start-up companies, which includes investing in ventures through the company’s CVC arm and developing new businesses.
From 2011 to 2015, he was a civil engineer for a railway company where he oversaw maintaining railway equipment. He earned his MBA from UC San Diego in the U.S. in 2017. This background allowed him to excel at cooperating with start-up companies in Japan and overseas to improve productivity in the construction industry, promoting DX, and developing new businesses.
Nakamoto can provide support in implementing technology that increases productivity and promotes DX in the construction industry, and smart and sustainable cities.
