Anthony Mwithiga is CEO of Absa Asset Management Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of Absa Bank Kenya PLC. Before joining Absa, he served as Chief Investment Officer at NCBA Investment Bank.

Anthony is an investment management professional with over 20 years’ experience in managing investment portfolios of pension schemes, insurance companies, unit trusts and high networth individuals across East Africa.

He is a Council Member of both the Institute of Certified Investment and Financial Analysts of Kenya (ICIFA) and the Fund Managers Association of Kenya (FMA) where he chairs Public Markets Committee.

Anthony is also a Non-Executive Director of Invest-In-Africa, Kenya Office and a Volunteer Investment Training Consultant for the East and Central Africa Association of Social Security Associations (ECASSA) based in Arusha Tanzania.

He is a Certified Business Coach by the Academy of Executive Coaching (AoEC) and a keen follower of the Kenya Start-ups business community, where he provides mentorship to various start-ups incubation initiatives.

Anthony possesses graduate and post-graduate qualifications in economics and finance plus he is both a full member of both the Certified Investment and Financial Analysts of Kenya (ICIFA) and Chartered Institute Securities and Investment of the UK (CISI).
