Kosuke heads the international business within Credit Saison (CS), one of the top 3 Japanese credit card issuers and a Japanese leading multi-finance company with USD 32 billion of AUM. CS is listed on Tokyo Stock Exchange with its market cap of USD 2 billion.

Kosuke initiated CS’s international business almost from scratch in 2013 and has been spearheading its expansion. Its global business has now grown in 7 countries across Asia (besides Japan); Singapore, Indonesia, India, Vietnam, Thailand, China, and the Philippines. CS’s global business verticals include a wide range of financial services from consumer finance to digital payments to fintech investments to SME lending with a main focus on financial inclusion of under-banked populations in Asia.

He is currently appointed as Senior Managing Executive Officer of Credit Saison Co., Ltd., in charge of the overall international businesses including Managing Director of Credit Saison Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd., Managing Partner of Saison Capital, and Chairman of Credit Saison India.

He graduated from the University of Tokyo with a bachelor’s degree in laws, and received a Master of Business Administration from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
