ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The NINJA ACCELERATOR IN KENYA is looking for 5 high-potential ventures that are

  • Related to CLEANTECH (any startup that helps green an industry - agriculture, mobility, healthcare, etc. - including reducing climate change-related impacts as part of business activities)
  • For profit, post-product, post-revenue, tech-enabled business solution with minimum of 6 months sustained revenue
  • With an office and operations based in Kenya
  • The founder, or a co-founder, must be of African nationality
  • Led by a dedicated FULL-TIME founding team
  • Minimum of 2 years of existence, but not greater than 5 years
  • At a stage to raise Pre-Seed or Seed funding rounds. Being a university-originated startup is a strong asset

The application process

Screening applications

One-on-one interviews (virtual or in-person, between August 7th – 18th)

Mini due-diligence

Pitch to selection panel (to be implemented between August 21st – 25th)

Application timeline

Applications open on June 19th and close on July 30th, 2023.
